Cassandra Lynn McCraw

The Bride grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She graduated from Hendrix College with a major in History and Political Science and was vice-president of the student senate. She worked as a research assistant in the Special Collections Division of the University Libraries and while there authored an essay on Sophia Sawyer for Arkansas Biography. She currently works for the Admissions Office of the University of Arkansas. She devotes her spare time to historical embroidery. She is the mother of the Maid of Honor.

Steven Arthur Boyd

The Groom was raised in Galesburg, Illinois. He attended Grinnell College, where he graduated with a Double Major in Classics and Anthropology. After working for a year as a field archaeologist, he attended graduate school at the University of Missouri in Calssical Archaeology, and later, the University of Kansas where he received certification as a Latin teacher. He taught Latin and Drama in Maryland, Tennessee and Missouri. He then received a Masters degree in Education from the University of Arkansas. He has appeared on two TV quiz shows, Jeopardy! in 1995, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2005. He currently manages Calontir Trim, a medievally-centered ribbon retail operation.
